 OUR MISSION

We are currently engaged in carrying out a plan to  help increase the quantity and quality of our area Social Ballroom Dancing Community. In so doing, we are featuring what we believe is the most beneficial dance instruction opportunity available in our area.

This opportunity is in the form of ten-week lesson series. These series are designed for the student to progress through beginner series, intermediate series, and advanced series.

Our classes move at a pace that will accommodate beginning dancers, and enable them to retain the steps taught.  Each class is taught according to the Dance Vision International Dance Association DVIDA® Syllabus.  Visit the Dance Vision site for
video clips.

Several dancers graduated from our bronze level Waltz series in the fall. That, however, is not the end of their Waltz opportunity. On the second Friday evening of every month we have an open dance event for fun and practice.

Currently, we refer to it as “Waltz Club” since the participants are using the opportunity practice their Waltz skills.
On January 13, 2008, we began the next ten week series featuring the bronze level Cha-Cha.  A lesson was taught each Sunday through March 16, 2008.

The bronze level Rumba began on Sunday, March 30, 2008. Many of the participants of the waltz and Cha Cha series are now becoming proficient in dancing the Rumba.

On November 23, 2008 the dancers participating in the Foxtrot series will celebrate graduation.  Watch this site for future dance classes.
