ORGANIZATION

We Are the Northern Lights Chapter of USA Dance.  USA Dance was formerly the  United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association  (USABDA)  a dance organization formed in persuit of the Olympic Dream. 

Its mission is to, "promote the quantity and quality of ballroom dance in the United States".

Northern Lights Ballroom Dance Club serves the communities of Fargo, North  Dakota, Moorhead, Minnesota and the surrounding areas-with members as far away as Grand Forks, Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes and more.  

Functioning as a non-profit organization, Northern Lights Dance Club promotes the national mission by offering dance events and affordable lessons, to its members, and the general public.

Currently, dance events are scheduled for the first two Fridays of every month (holidays excluded), some Saturdays, and most Sunday afternoons.  Please refer to the Dance and Event Calendar, posted on this website, for further information.

Lessons and events are held at Aurora Elementary, West Fargo, North Dakota and Gaspers School of Dance, Fargo, North Dakota, the El Zagel Shrine hall, Fargo, North Dakota, the MSUM Ballroom, and area night clubs. 

We are a social ballroom dance club, and as such support other social dancing and dance events.  For more information visit Other Dances & Events.  Throughout the year we may offer lessons on a wide variety of dances including, but not limited to:

Club membership fees are as low as $35 per year for a social dance membership.  Membership affords you a variety of benefits.
